On September 25 and 26, on the territory of the Kazan family center from 12:00 to 20:00, the Itil festival of the peoples of the Volga region will take place – this is another event within the framework of the Year of Native Languages ​​and National Unity in Tatarstan.

Itil is the Turkic name of the Volga, historically the name of its lower reaches. This word in different variations is still preserved in the Bashkir, Kazakh, Kalmyk, Mongolian, Tatar, Chuvash, Karachai-Balkar and Nogai languages.

As planned by the organizers, through musical performances, performances and art objects, musicians, artists and artists will acquaint the guests of the festival with the history of peoples, the culture of their ancestors and show how all this can exist in the modern world.

The headliner of the festival will be the singer Manizha, who will perform on September 25 at 19: 00–20: 00 on the main stage.
